3. Donations
Donations are voluntary and are applied to the selected campaign or, where no restriction is selected or a campaign cannot proceed, to purposes consistent with the charity’s objectives and applicable law. Card payments are processed by Stripe.
4. Gift Aid
By making a Gift Aid declaration, you confirm that the information supplied is accurate and that you understand the relevant taxpayer requirements. You should tell us if your circumstances or eligibility change.
5. Refunds
Charitable donations are generally final. We will consider genuine mistakes, duplicate payments, fraud concerns and any refund rights required by law. Event bookings and product orders may have separate cancellation terms shown at the point of booking or purchase.
6. Events
Event details may change where reasonably necessary. Attendees must follow venue rules, safety instructions and appropriate standards of behaviour.
7. Volunteers
Submitting an application does not guarantee a volunteer role. Roles may be subject to suitability checks, references, training, safeguarding requirements and, where relevant, a DBS check.
8. Funeral wishes and support
Funeral wishes records help communicate preferences but do not replace a valid will, advance decision, power of attorney or other legally binding instrument. We cannot guarantee that every preference can be carried out where circumstances, law, safety, family decisions or available resources prevent it.
9. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, website content belongs to or is licensed to Sadaqah Jariyah Funeral Services. It may not be reproduced commercially without permission.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect loss arising from use of general website information or third-party services outside our control.
